After meeting with thousands of everyday Tasmanians this election campaign and listening to their stories, hopes, and frustrations the message is clear – after 11 years of Liberal government, Tasmanians want a fresh start.
Labor’s TassieDoc initiative is the perfect example of the fresh, innovative leadership I want to bring Tasmania, and it’s the initiative I’m most proud of this election.
I’ve promised 10 TassieDoc clinics across the state because after 11 years of the Liberals, Tasmanians have waited long enough to see a regular doctor for free.
TassieDoc will deliver genuine cost-of-living relief and easier access to healthcare, with free doctor visits for Tasmanians across the state. The response from local communities has been overwhelming, with countless Tasmanians telling us this is exactly the support they need.
The Liberals have had 11 years in power, and Tasmanians have nothing to show for it. They’ve mismanaged major projects like the Spirits, our finances are the worst in the nation, health waitlists are double the size they were a decade ago, and young people are fleeing the state in record numbers.
The Liberals have divided Tasmania.
A Labor Government I lead will bring Tasmania together to fix the mess left by the Liberals and deliver the fresh start we need.
This election is a choice between a fresh start for Tasmanians, or more of the same under the Liberals after 11 years of failure.
The best way to change the Government is to vote for Labor.
It’s time for a fresh start and I am ready to deliver it.
