Tasmanian Labor has welcomed the Federal Government’s multi-billion-dollar housing investment.

The only way to fix the housing crisis is to build more homes, and this package stands to make a huge difference in Tasmania.

Importantly, the Federal Government also recognises the need to build the workforce, with this announcement coming off the back of $90.6 million package to boost the number of construction workers nationwide.

Tasmanian Labor will always back the construction of more homes, which has the added bonus of supporting jobs for Tasmanians.
