Tasmanian Labor is back. 

We are back as the party of jobs, working for Tasmanians who we know need us to form the next State Government. 

Luke Edmunds’ election result in Pembroke follows Labor winning four of the state’s five federal seats earlier this month and confirms that Tasmanian voters are ready for a change at state level.

Luke has been an outstanding representative for people on the Eastern Shore and last night’s result showed that people have seen that.

We are focused on safe, secure and well-paid jobs for Tasmanians and keeping public services in public ownership.

I am proud to say the Tasmanian Labor Party has changed. We are united, resurgent and ready to deliver for our state.

I look forward to continuing to working with Luke as we stand up against the Liberals' privatisation push, share our plan to clean up the mess the Liberals have created and outline Labor’s positive vision for Tasmania's future.
