For the third time in a fortnight, Premier Jeremy Rockliff has completely humiliated Minister Abetz.
Two weeks ago, the Premier was forced to step in and contradict his Minister's claim the minority government would ignore a vote of no confidence in then-Deputy Premier Michael Ferguson.
Last week, the Premier had to overrule Minister Abetz's Ministerial Direction to TasPorts and TT-Line in June to build a temporary berth for the Spirits in Devonport, due to cost and safety concerns.
Today, he's again had to overrule his Minister, who just yesterday was adamant that extra booking would not be available on the Spirits unless TT-Line was satisfied there was enough demand.
How can Tasmanians be sure Minister Abetz is speaking for the government, when his statements are so frequently contradicted by his own Premier?
And given the Premier clearly doesn't have confidence in his Minister Abetz's judgement, how can Tasmanians?
