Rockliff’s aviation “commitment” difficult to believe

24 June 2025

Jeremy Rockliff has become so desperate that he’ll say anything to save his own skin – and he needs to be challenged on it.

Yesterday, Labor announced a policy which would amend aviation attraction fund guidelines to unlock tens of thousands more seats on flights into Tasmania.

It was welcomed by Hobart Airport and the tourism industry, because it was a change that needed to be made.

In response, Jeremy Rockliff said he’d already committed to it. The problem with his statement, is that no one has ever heard that commitment.

My challenge to Jeremy Rockliff today is to prove when he made that commitment, and who he made it to.

If he can’t, it says everything you need to know about him.
