Kaspar is a former public school teacher and a local councillor, with a proud union background. He is raising a young family, and they are experiencing the same challenges so many Tasmanians are facing right now.

They rent, work multiple jobs to help pay the bills and know how difficult it is to find appropriate childcare, let alone afford it.

As an advocate for public education, Kaspar wants every Tasmanian, regardless of postcode, to receive the same quality public education that he received.
