Luke has had an impressive career as a community and industry leader, having been the Chief Executive of the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania and Salmon Tasmania, and a Glenorchy councillor.

Luke has been appalled by how the state has been run by the Rockliff government which, he believes, has lost control on how to manage government spending.
