Candidate for Bass

As a Tasmanian I know the importance of fighting for working people’s rights and the value of universal access to good education and health care.

I've lost faith in the Liberal State Government after years of budget failings, stalled infrastructure, and a lack of real cost of living relief for Tasmanians.

That's why I’ve put my hand up to run in Bass because Tasmania needs a fresh start.

As an economist with decades of experience in senior finance and banking roles covering risk management, strategy and policy, I know how to improve public policy and decision-making in our state.

Tasmania can’t afford more of the same. We need new leadership to work together with both business and the community to provide the opportunities necessary to improve the lives of Tasmanians.

The decisions we all make now at this election affect all Tasmanians and future Tasmanians. We must make Tasmania an attractive place for young people to stay and make a life here. I will work hard to make that happen for our community.

• Graduate and post-graduate qualifications in Accounting, Economics and Finance
• Decades of experience in senior banking and finance roles covering risk management, strategy and policy including at General Manager level in Australia’s largest bank as well as at start-up agribusinesses.
• Voluntary community Board positions have included one of Tasmania’s largest Not for Profit Aged Care operators and one of Tasmania’s largest ‘giving’ charities.
